Long enough to understand what is going on, and begin doing something about it. No open-ended commitments: you leave with a plan agreed together.

Sleep, digestion, energy, stress. Where it hurts, and where it used to. The things that seem unrelated usually aren't.
A proper look
Pulse, tongue, posture, how you move. The information is there if you know where to look.
Treatment, and a plan
Relief first, then correcting the pattern, then keeping it that way. Fine, sterile, single-use needles; most people find it restful.

Does it hurt?
The needles are very fine, sterile and single-use. Most people describe a dull, heavy or warm feeling rather than pain, and many find the session restful enough to doze.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what brings you in and how long it has been going on. You'll leave the first appointment with a plan agreed together, so you know what is proposed before you commit to anything.
How much does it cost?
$149 for the 75-minute first appointment and $115 for a 50-minute follow-up. With a pensioner, health care or student card: $108 and $86.
Can I claim it on my health fund?
Most major funds include acupuncture with an AHPRA-registered practitioner. Bring your card and we claim on the spot with Tyro Health Point (HICAPS). Check your level of cover with your fund.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly. If you are under the care of a GP or specialist, we work alongside them.
What should I bring?
Your health fund or concession card, and clothes that roll up easily at the sleeves and legs. For NDIS, WorkCover or motor vehicle insurance, bring your GP referral. Allow the full 75 minutes.
Where do I park?
There is parking on site at 87–89 Tweed Coast Road, Hastings Point, about 10 minutes from Kingscliff and 5 from Cabarita and Pottsville.
